2021.11.02 It is recommended to establish a manifesto for clinical exercise guidance professionals
Co-signed by Huang Senfang, Associate Professor of Tzu Chi University Sports Teaching Center, Chen Junzhong, Chairman of Taiwan Society of Exercise Medicine, Chen Taoming, Chairman of Taiwan Complementary Medicine Society, Liu Mingren, Secretary General of Taiwan Complementary Medicine Society, Liao Junru, Secretary General of Taiwan Society of Exercise Medicine, and Zhang Caiming, general manager of "aicity" (尚未補) In addition, Taiwan is facing a stage of rapid population aging. In 2018, the elderly aged 65 and over accounted for 14.6% of the total population and consumed 37.8% of health insurance fees (Ministry of Health and Welfare, 2019). It is estimated that by 2041 the population aged 65 will reach 30%, which is about double that of 2018 (National Development Council, 2020 ). Calculating in this way, the health insurance premium will also multiply to more than 75.6%. At that time, 70% of the most of the population under the age of 65 will only have 24.4% of health insurance premium available, which will inevitably cause a serious imbalance in medical resources. For degenerative diseases and non-communicable diseases of the elderly, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, etc., regular exercise prevention or clinical exercise intervention adjuvant therapy has remarkable effects. The scientific research evidence mentioned above has long been overwhelming and innumerable. That’s all, as mentioned above, as soon as possible, as recommended by the World Health Organization and the practices of the above-mentioned countries such as Europe, the United States, and Singapore, establish clinical sports intervention to assist medical services for the treatment of various diseases. Under the existing sports professional education system in China, establish a complete system for the education, selection and employment of clinical sports professionals, and add clinical sports professionals to the overall medical service system as soon as possible to improve various diseases that require exercise-assisted treatment The effectiveness and quality of medical treatment for patients, and reduce the overall medical resource expenditure in our country in order to cope with the pressure and trend of the rapid aging of our population. |
